They say, ‘a good day never starts off without a nice cup of coffee’.
The Islamic Arts Museum Malaysia is proud to host ‘The Story of Coffee’ exhibition. Savour the goodness of coffee and its many facets. Walk with us through the incredible timeline where coffee and its consumption was glorified. We at the Education Department has lined up a variety of programmes to cater for the needs of coffee enthusiasts out there, young and old.
To start off, there will be a talk and demonstration as well as curator’s sharing session on coffee culture. You will gain insights on the right way to enjoy your cup of coffee whilst getting in touch with the history that it clings to.
On a more practical note, there will also be workshops incorporating the use of coffee in art works and DIY beauty products. For the young ones, they will get to experience making crafts using coffee as the focal medium to make their own version of ‘Play Doh’ and tie-dye art.
Don’t miss the chance to be part of this aroma filled adventure!
