Education Manager

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Education or Art History or related field preferred;
  • Basic knowledge of Islamic History an advantage;
  • At least 5 years working experience preferably in managerial in education department;
  • Proficient in English & Bahasa Malaysia, knowledge of Arabic and other languages an advantage;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with proven ability to work well with colleagues and other employees;
  • Pleasant personality and able to interact with children;
  • Former government officers from Ministry of Education are encouraged to apply;

 

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and develops educational programming to reach abroad range of audiences in line with Islamic Arts Museum requirements;
  • Liaise with external organisations for joint programs and partnership;
  • Supervises and evaluates all museum-based education programs including university/college/school tours for students;
  • Provides the programming content for the Museum’s website as well as social media and other marketing needs;
