INTRODUCTION

The Education Department aims to stimulate interest and the sharing of ideas through its activities, educational programmes and resources for visitors of all ages. Our range of programmes include guided tours, children’s activities, object handling sessions, gallery programmes, workshops, talks and seminars. The Education Department is now focusing on expanding its gallery programmes, and working on gallery workbooks and activities that cater to people from pre-school to university level.

We are committed in encouraging new audiences to participate, while at the same time to develop new programmes, events and projects, specifically aimed at those who are interested in deepening their understanding of an area of a collection or a subject of an exhibition.
