Islamic Arts Museum Malaysia seeks suitably qualified candidates for the following positions:

1. Housekeeping - HOUSEKEEPING SUPERVISOR
Requirements
• 8 years in housekeeping industry, preferably from hotel background.
• Disciplined
• Hardworking
• Possessing leadership qualities
• Computer literate
• Excellent communication skills – English and Malay

2. Conservation Centre - HEAD OF CONSERVATION CENTRE
Requirements:
• Recognized professional qualification to degree level or above in Conservation & Restoration of Art Objects with at least 10 years of practical experience
• Specialist in the treatment of a wide variety of artefacts

Main Responsibilities:
• To assist the Museum Director in establishing long-range and strategic planning for the Conservation Centre.
• To lead and manage staff.
• To carry out and supervise practical conservation work following an Islamic approach to the treatment of artefacts.
• To train, maintain and develop conservation skill held by staff.

3. Conservation Centre - TRAINEE ASSISTANT CONSERVATOR
• Minimum Diploma in Arts or Information Management
• Good command of English & Bahasa Melayu, computer literate
• Male candidate only

4. Marketing & Events Department - MANAGER / ASSISTANT MANAGER
• Minimum Diploma in Marketing, Mass Communication or equivalent
• Hands on working experience in Marketing at managerial / senior executive level
• Excellent communication skills in English and Bahasa Melayu, verbal and written
• Ability to plan, analyze and implement of marketing and public relations activities, efforts and strategies
• Ability to lead, train and motivate team members

5. Accounts Department - ACCOUNTS OFFICER
• Possess Diploma in Accounting / LCCI
• Able to work independently with minimum supervision
• Minimum one (1) year relevant experience
• Able to handle full set of accounts

6. MUSEUM ASSISTANT
• Minimum SPM
• Pleasant personality and enjoy meeting people
• Willing to work on weekends and Public Holidays

7. PEMBANTU KESELAMATAN, JABATAN KESELAMATAN
• Minima SPM dengan pengalaman berkaitan
• Lelaki berumur bawah 35 tahun, sihat tubuh badan
• Sanggup bekerja syif termasuk syif malam, hujung minggu dan cuti umum
• Keutamaan diberikan kepada mereka yang tidak merokok dan mempunyai kenderaan sendiri
