The museum has two special galleries, which are used for temporary exhibitions. When not in use for this purpose they are available to rent. Both represent some of the most substantial dedicated exhibition space in Kuala Malaysia. Special Gallery 1 is 576 square metres, while Special Gallery 2 is 460 square metres.
