The Education Department aims to stimulate interest and the sharing of ideas through its activities, educational programmes and resources for visitors of all ages. Our range of programmes include guided tours, children's activities, object handling sessions, gallery programmes, workshops, talks and seminars. The Education Department is now focusing on expanding its gallery programmes, and working on gallery workbooks and activities that cater to people from pre-school to university level.
We are committed to encouraging new audiences at the Museum and in developing new programmes, events and projects, specifically aimed at those who are interested in deepening their understanding of an area of a collection or a subject of an exhibition.
We believe that through educational programmes the wealth and heritage of the Islamic civilisations will flourish and be preserved. With that in mind, the Museum introduces this space dedicated to educational opportunities and information resources.
