In conjunction with the “Al-Tibb: Healing Traditions in Islamic Medical Manuscripts” exhibition, IAMM will be organizing educational programmes in the form of talks and workshops.
Among the highlights will be special talk sessions by experts in the field namely Dr Farouk Yahya (Ashmolean Museum UK), Dr. Fabrizio Speziale (author of “Hospitals in Iran and India, 1500-1950s”) and Dr. Hajah Faridah Abdul Rashid (Universiti Sains Malaysia). Aside from that, there will be workshops such as Art of Attar: Aromatherapy of the Muslim World that will be conducted by Hafsa Hassan.
