AL-QUR’AN RECITATION (TADARUS ALQUR’AN)

Tadarus Al-Qur’an is one of the programmes that were planned in conjunction with the Al-Qur’an and Ilmuwan Islam exhibition for the year 2006. This programme was jointly organised by the Islamic Arts Museum Malaysia (IAMM) and Sistem Televisyen Malaysia Berhad (TV3) and was sponsored by Takaful Malaysia Berhad and Al-Munawwarah.

The Tadarus Al-Qur’an was launched on 24th September 2006 / 1st Ramadhan 1427H by YB. Dato’ Dr. Mashitah Ibrahim the Deputy Minister in the Prime Minister Department. Almost 100 participants have joined the Tadarus Al-Qur’an which are led by 6 Imams/Al-Hafiz from various mosques in Klang Valley. This programme will continuously run from the 1st day of Ramadhan until 18th October 2006.

We hope this programme will be held again in the future, as it is a good spiritual programme for the public during the month of Ramadhan.
