AL –QUR’AN MEMORIZATION WORKSHOP

Venue: Auditorium, Islamic Arts Museum Malaysia

This programme was conducted by Dr. Hj. Mohd Shafie Hj. Md Amin Al- Muqri from Al- Huffaz Consulting Sdn. Bhd. 87 participants joined the programme. They are students from government schools and maahad tahfiz around Selangor and Kuala Lumpur and also walk-in individuals. Takaful Malaysia, Pepper Media, Taharah, Halagel and Anggerik Avenue have sponsored the students.

The workshop was divided into two sessions. The first session focused on the importance and benefits of reciting the Qur’an. On the other hand, the second session concentrated on the techniques and tips on memorization. They are given a module during registration. One of the techniques of memorization is to read and repeat the same verse 10 to 60 times. The technique can be applied in our daily lives especially for students in helping them to prepare for examination.
